Final Countdown To The 2024 Spokane Valley Connect
The 2024 Spokane Valley Connect is counting down to Thursday, May 30th, 2024 from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM at Opportunity Presbyterian Church located at 202 N Pines Road in Spokane Valley.
A Full Slate of Vendors & Services
We’re in the final countdown to the Spokane Valley Connect, and the organizing committee is thrilled with the wide selection of vendors and services scheduled for this year’s Valley Connect. Attached to this News Release is a PDF of the just-completed Vendor Guide & Map. Here are a few of the amazing services you'll discover:
· CHAS Health - Services at the Valley Connect will include: Primary Care Services, Sports/Camp physicals, Wound Care, Treatment of Acute Injury/Illness, Labs, Dental Exam, and Connection to Resources.
· DSHS Mobile Outreach - On-site Staff can determine financial eligibility for cash and food assistance programs, help submit new applications, and see about renewing benefits and/or making changes for active cases. Staff can also issue vouchers to obtain an ID card, EBT cards, and determine eligibility for Medicare Savings Programs and Medicaid.
· Partners INW Food Bank (Formerly Spokane Valley Partners) - When local families, vulnerable youth, and impoverished elderly face significant obstacles Partners INW is here to provide a safety net for those in need as the largest social services agency in Spokane Valley. A mobile food bank will be onsite at the Connect. In order to have enough for all our guests quantity of items may be limited.
· Central Valley School District Student & Family Engagement Center - We help connect area families to resources for housing, mental health, health insurance, transportation, and other community resources, and provide a food and clothing bank for families in the Central Valley School District.
· City of Spokane Valley - City of Spokane Valley's Parks & Rec Department will have information about summer programming, and some free pool passes while supplies last.
· Family Promise of Spokane - Family Promise equips families and communities to end the cycle of family homelessness in Spokane County. Family Promise provides Diversion, Prevention, Housing and Stabilization services to families that are experiencing housing instability. FPS will have case managers and program information available at our table.
